Duralo Complete Strut Assembly – Limited Lifetime Warranty

General Warranty Information

Duralo warrants its Complete Strut Assemblies (CSAs) against defects in materials and/or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser of the CSA owns their vehicle. If a strut/shock assembly fails in the normal course of use not owing to normal wear and tear, and Duralo determines it to be defective, Duralo will replace the defective unit a comparable unit.

Limited Lifetime Warranty

Duralo warrants to the original purchaser that, for the life of each Complete Strut Assembly, this product shall be free of defects in workmanship and/or materials. Warranties are to be serviced by Duralo directly, with the burden of shipping the suspected defective unit(s) for inspection falling on the customer. Proof of purchase must be submitted with your return for warranty consideration. This warranty has no cash value

Warranty Limitations

The limited lifetime warranty detailed above is non-transferrable and does not cover normal wear and tear. Additional exceptions include:

  • Incorrect installation including installation on applications for which the part was not designed
  • Racing or aggressive off-road use
  • Modifications made to the product by the customer after receipt
  • Bent or broken rods arising from abusive driving
  • Labor for installation and removal is not covered under this warranty
  • Minor cosmetic issues such as surface imperfections and rubber bushing wear and tear are not covered by this warranty
  • Light coating of film on piston rod or shock body – these are normal conditions and not subject to warranty replacement

Duralo’s responsibility for a defective complete strut assembly is limited to replacement of a defective unit with a new Duralo unit. Replacement as provided by this warranty is the customer’s sole remedy in the case of a defect found in product manufacturing or materials. Duralo is not liable for incidental or other damages resulting from the removal, handling, installation, service, repair, or disassembly of the product. Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State. Note: Other exclusions may or may not apply in certain states or rare circumstances.

Duralo Brake Rotors and Brake Pads – 1-Year Warranty

Duralo Brakes General Warranty Information:

Duralo warrants its Brake Products against defects in materials and/or workmanship for 1 (one) year after installation on the original purchaser’s vehicle. Warranties are to be serviced by Duralo directly, with the burden of shipping the suspected defective unit(s) for inspection falling on the customer. Proof of purchase must be submitted with your return for warranty consideration. This warranty has no cash value. If a Duralo Brake Rotor, Duralo Brake Pad, or Duralo Brake Caliper fails in the normal course of use not owing to normal wear and tear, and Duralo determines the product to be defective, Duralo will replace the defective unit a comparable unit with the following exceptions.

Warranty Exceptions:

The 1-year warranty detailed above is non-transferrable and does not cover normal wear and tear. Additional exceptions include:

  • Racing or aggressive off-road use
  • Incorrect installation including installation on applications for which the part was not designed
  • Modifications made to the product by the customer after receipt
  • Surface rust on rotor surface – this is normal on all rotors and not subject to warranty replacement
  • Labor for installation and removal is not covered under this warranty
  • Warpage or other damage caused by improper installation
  • Noise from brake pads due to debris presence or not using supplied shims

Additional:

Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose applicable to these Duralo Brake Rotors, Brake Pads, or Brake Calipers is limited in duration to that of this written warranty. The remedy provided above is the exclusive remedy under this written warranty or any implied warranty.

Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.

Duralo Steering Racks – Limited Lifetime Warranty

General Warranty Information

Duralo warrants its Steering Racks against defects in materials and/or workmanship for as long as the original purchaser of the Steering Rack owns their vehicle. If a Steering Rack fails in the normal course of use, not owing to normal wear and tear, and Duralo determines it to be defective, Duralo will replace the defective unit with a comparable unit.

Duralo warrants to the original purchaser that, for the life of each Steering Rack, this product shall be free of defects in workmanship and/or materials. Warranties are to be serviced by Duralo directly, with the burden of shipping the suspected defective unit(s) for inspection falling on the customer.
